Gap Year in Spain

The BHS Gap Year program in Spain is a period of time of 10 months (the length of the school year) taken between the completion of high school and before starting university.  The main reason for doing our gap year in Spain at Barcelona High School is for personal growth, exploration, and skill development to gain maturity and clarify goals through learning new things before entering university.

Program 

The BHS Gap Year program is a flexible course schedule of whatever the student is interested in, but hasn't yet had the opportunity to explore academically.  The gap year program at BHS is designed as a stepping stone into independent university life, and for students to have a more informed idea of what they want to study later on in university, before they make the big step into university.
