Through a collaboration with Treehouse, the #1 coding certificate platform in the United States, BHS offers courses from the Treehouse coding program as elective course curriculum for school credit.

 

As part of the collaboration, students who complete the series of courses within the coding program track, earn an official certificate of completion from Treehouse in their chosen coding disciplines such as JavaScript, Python and Web Development.

 

Students who want to get a job in coding can do even do the more robust bootcamp coding program to earn an official Techdegree from Treehouse., which requires the completion of a series of projects for their professional portfolio in GitHub.

Furthermore, the CEO of Treehouse, Jason Gilmore, serves as the Strategic Advisor of the coding certificate program at BHS to ensure that the students are getting the coding knowledge necessary to compete in the ever-changing world of tech.
